Chewing gum removal can be extremely labour
intensive whether freshly deposited or many
years old. Most established chewing gum removal
products do not work because they heat up the
chewing gum and reactivate its adhesive and
elastic properties. Furthermore, some methods
that chewing gum spots do so but unfortunately
leave unsightly shadow marks.
Decap'Sols Guard hardens
the chewing gum spots and degrades the adhesion
at the perimeter interface between the chewing
gum and the substrate. It is effective on most
pavement and flooring materials. The solution
is applied in diluted form using spray equipment.
After soaking, the surface can be worked with
a stiff broom and jet washed with clean water.
